Here’s some beautiful pieces of vintage mid-century elegant glassware which were made by the Fostoria Glass Company of Moundsville, West Virginia. This is Fostoria’s Blank 2719, called “Jamestown”; it was produced in this amber color from 1958 until 1972. These are the 12 oz. footed tumblers from the line.
The glasses are about 5-3/16″ tall; they’re about 3-3/4″ across the flared rim, and the base is about 2-1/2″ in diameter. They hold about 11 ounces when filled to the brim; ‘functional capacity’ is probably about 9 ounces. Nice heavy functional glasses, they’re in nice shape, a cool blank, pretty color, and they need a new home.
